Introduction:
This VGA extender includes a signal transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter which is linked with main engine will convert the VGA signal to standard TCP / IP and transmit by internet. The receiver which is connected with the display will convert the standard TCP / IP signal into VGA signal. In brief, extend the VGA signal 60 meters by CAT-6 cable.
Specifications:
â– Transmitting distance is up to 60 meters (100 feet) by Ethernet cable.
â– Use CAT- 6 replaces VGA wire.
â– Support IEEE-568B standard.
â– Support all kinds of computer system.
â– Support hard disk video recorder, monitor host and other equipment which has a VGA interface.
â– Small, lightweight, no power and driver required, easy installation and flexible in wiring.
â– Widely used in KTV, large screen display and other venues that need to extend the VGA signal to 60 meters by Ethernet cable.
â– Specifications:
â– Material: Aluminum alloy.
â– Color: Black.
â– Connector: RJ45, VGA.
Customer Feedback
"This is a great product if you need to extend a VGA signal. I needed about a 130′ extension. When I first hooked them up they didn't work despite my having tested the network cable and having it pass. I couldn't get a signal on the monitor. After much troubleshooting I discovered the equipment being connected must have a common electrical ground or you must provide one. When I discovered that was the problem It immediately worked.
Maixin-tech quickly got a replacement set out to me to attempt to correct the problem although that didn't work. I wiring instructions are useless and there is not technical support to talk to about possible problems. If they don't work you are on your own. I have many hours trying to figure out what could be the problem. I always thought the product functioned properly."
"Purchased this for use in my church for our overflow projector, I bought this to avoid a (greater than) 150ft cable run for a VGA display. This little device works perfect well. It allows me to run cheaper (and easier) cat6 cable to the remote display. I ran about 150ft of cable to the remote location. There is no sign of image degradation on the remote display. I see no noise, scrolling lines, interference, or anything else that would indicate a signal problem. I'm only running at 1024 768 though. I don't know how it would perform at higher resolutions. I highly recommend this unit and will definitely buy more for future needs."
"I used this for a production where we needed to extend video at about 200′ over an older network. The units are solid and just "plug and play" for the most part. I noticed some quality loss when the cables were wrapped tightly but this did not extend to when I ran the cables during the installation."
